WHERE DOES THE NAME COME FROM ? The Animals Observatory is an analogy of the world of children . They spend their childhood watching attentively to understand their surroundings , the behaviour of their parents and adults . Childhood is an animal observatory !!! mature as a project . My years at Bobo Choses were all about discovery and learning . The challenge is bigger with TAO . When I was designing for Bobo Choses there weren ’ t as many clothing brands around as there are now . I instinctively sensed that there was a gap in the market . That ’ s no longer the case and that ’ s why I ’ m so happy about TAO being stocked in so

PRIOR TO THAT , HAD YOU many stores and the fact that it ’ s starting to carve out its place in the market . I also have an extraordinary team around me . They are a dream to work with . ALWAYS BEEN INTERESTED IN FASHION DESIGN ? Thank you very much . Actually , it would be more accurate to say I have always been interested in aesthetics in general . That ’ s my passion . It ’ s a passion that goes across the board , encompassing everything from children ’ s story books to furniture and also , of course , fashion . Children ’ s fashion gives me a wonderful way of expressing myself .
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR INSPIRATION ? [ I find my inspiration ] from the life that I have around me and my relentless curiosity . It ’ s a matter of having a certain predisposition to look around you , in the knowledge that beauty often appears in the most unexpected places . Perhaps that ’ s the reason I don ’ t make a distinction between my professional and personal life . I ’ m always on the lookout . It ’ s a way of being part of the world and feeling alive .
