New Branch Concept for Raiffeisenbank Straubing
In the course of plans to renew and modernise its branch network , Raiffeisenbank Straubing eG has chosen Wincor Nixdorf to create a new branch concept . Implementation began in Salching , where Wincor Nixdor converted the bank ’ s branch from a classic setup to a service and advice centre with two consulting rooms and a completely open area for clients . The branch was reopened in February 2016 . Instead of a typical counter with staff on one side , there is a counter that clients can use from all sides . The consulting rooms are bright , and have opaque glass panes to ensure greater privacy . Another eye-catcher is an illuminated indoor stone wall in a rural style . “ The re-designed branch has gone down really well with our clients ,” said Rainer Haas , CEO of Raiffeisenbank Straubing eG . “ The premises provide a very pleasant and communicative atmosphere .” Alexander Beeck , Senior Interior Designer at Wincor Nixdorf , pointed out that the innovative branch concept supports the transformation of banking in an ideal manner . “ Together with Raiffeisenbank Straubing , we have optimized the bank ’ s functions .”

In line with its dramatic top-line expansion , staff numbers in the last 12 months have risen by 40 % to 49 . Evoke , which has added manufacturing capabilities to its product design skills , is now exploring possible growth in overseas markets including the US and also investigating opening a second office and showroom in the London area .
