About Poncho8
Poncho8 is an award-winning chain of
quick and healthy Mexican restaurants,
and their burritos are consistently voted
the best in London. They offer freshly
prepared classic Mexican food tailored
to their customers, alongside a range of
low-carb options devised by professional
nutritionists.
The Problem
Poncho8 were facing issues with queues
and customer waiting times during their
peak periods. Long queues could lead
to a reduction in sales and customer
satisfaction, so it was of paramount
importance to deal with this challenge.
The Solution
Poncho8 wanted to implement a kiosk
solution that would enable customers
to quickly and easily select and pay for
their menu choices – the Cielo KX-100

The Result
Poncho8 were the first burrito chain to
custom-build and install a self-service Chip
and PIN payment kiosk, ensuring that their
ambition and expansion is matched with
the latest time saving technology. They
have already seen an additional 4 per cent
increase in processed orders thanks to
their KX-100 installation, and are planning
to incorporate more kiosks in their other
stores.
