and then create erotic art in the shadows, even under a pseudonym. What has given you the courage to do what you do, the way you do it? I am what I am. And why should I hide it? No. Never. Otherwise it's not authentic. It is not true. Even in some scenes I've painted, I was not only the watcher, I was also actively taking part... so the viewer of the image can also be an active part of it... or relax and just be a watcher, unknown, safe. Quite often erotic art isn't only skin deep and there can be strong and powerful themes hidden within. What is the biggest misconception when it comes to erotic art? Eroticism is diverse. Eroticism is not just one thing. Erotica has 1000 faces. Each is different. Feelings, sex, passion, touching, sensuality... Everything is different for each person. Again and again, always exciting - but never the same. It affects everyone - and every combination is different. It's like a fingerprint - incomparable! What has been the highlight of your career so far? Homophobia artistically and politically. Do you have favorite medium (oil, acrylic, pastel, other) that you feel most connected to, or do you work with several mediums? I love to paint with acrylics on canvas, I love to paint hard, the wilder the better. Since you create erotic art, how has the experience been for you? After all, even in today's liberated world sexuality can still be something people are turned off by or have prejudices about.
