Dear friends,
The future of healthcare in Burlington is taking
shape right in front of our eyes, thanks to the
generous support of people like you.
Construction on our new patient tower is
progressing well, and the tower is on track to open
in fall 2017. It has been truly inspiring to watch the
building rise and to be able to share the incredible
impact it will have on patient care with our donors
and supporters. Our patient mock-up rooms
showcase the future of Joseph Brant Hospital and
the transformation into a modern facility.
This project is a reality because of the vision and
generosity of community leaders who continue to
step forward and support the Redevelopment and
Expansion project. In November, we announced

The Joyce Foundation gift of $7.5 million. And
a challenge from the Longo family saw the
community respond with more than $500,000
raised from September to December, which was
matched by the Longo family – giving us $1 million
reasons to celebrate.
As we enter the final stages of construction, our
campaign is in the home stretch as well. Thank
you to all those donors who have supported the
Our New Era campaign to date. There is still an
opportunity to join with us and change the face of
healthcare in this community.
With the continued support of dedicated
community members like you, we are making our
vision of a new Joseph Brant Hospital a reality.
