With Our Praises
You read Exodus for a purpose. I
desire praise and worship. They
always murmured and complained
even in the midst of my miracles.
Take heed to trust me with your
praises always.

Can we think of anything better than to be called a
friend of God or to know that by believing Him it is placed on our account as a
credit in the righteousness column? Or to go further than that and see that even
Abraham’s descendants were reminded by God that Abraham was God’s friend.
What a legacy. We are encouraged over and over through the Word to praise our
God. Perhaps, besides the fact that He is definitely worthy of our praises, it might
be to remind us of how big, capable and powerful He is.
