2. What’s your favourite type of music you like to drum to?

Funk jazz music was my favourite style of music to play and still is.

3. What preparation did you do to get ready for the tour?

The preparation for Janet's tours consists of learning everything from old music to the newest stuff. She usually sends us a list of songs that she's interested in doing and when we get to rehearsal, we figure it out there. The band is normally in a room next to the dancers and she pops in and out to make sure what we're doing is in sync with what they're doing. We record everything and send it over to them to practice to the new show arrangements.

4. Whilst on the tour, what were your highlights?

One highlight that sticks out to me was playing in Minneapolis, the home of where most of her hits were made with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. They also presented her with gifts as well as proclaiming that day to be "Janet Jackson Day".

5. What is it like working with Janet and her team?

Working with Janet is always fun and intense at the same time. She is a perfectionist and requires everyone to be the same. We are a TEAM. On top of rehearsals being fun, she's a very sweet and humble individual to work with.

6. What is your favourite Janet album and era?

My favourite album to date would be "Rhythm Nation" cuz it was so damn FUNKY!! 😎 but I also like Velvet Rope because of the diversity and where she was in her life at the time.

7. What’s your favourite track on Janet’s Unbreakable album?

My favourite song on the Unbreakable album would probably be "Damn Baby" and I love to play it live with our smokin band .

8. What are you currently up to?

Since the rest of the tour has been pushed back for our queen to give birth I have continued recording records for different artists and playing award shows for BET, as well as travelling with comedy legend Dave Chappelle playing shows for his "Juke Joint" series all across the country. I'm also working on a 2nd album of my own. Check out my 1st one called "The Heartbeat" on iTunes and Amazon.com
