Melt carrier oil and wax over your
double boiler. Remove from heat
and allow to cool for a couple of
minutes. Add essential oil(s) and
carefully pour into your storage
container(s). Use once your perfume balm is hardened.
*If you use beeswax, your perfume balm will be a different
color. I used the emulsifying wax
and grapefruit seed oil, which
gave it a pretty green color. If you
were to use olive oil and beeswax, it would be more of a bright
sunflowery-yellow color.

By Chef Alain Braux
This is a recipe I put together for my vegan students at the Natural Epicurean Academy
of Culinary Arts. It’s lovely, very refreshing, very healthy, and very easy to make. It’s also
vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo, Bon Appétit!
