ISKCON Midrand was incorporated as a Non Profit
company, as defined in the Companies Act, 2008
on 30 July 2012.

An offer to purchase was signed for our current
premises: 68/1 Norfolk Road, Carlswald, Midrand
on 18 February 2014 and around Janmastami of
2014, ISKCON Midrand became the new property
owner. The property is christened as New
Navadvipa, an ISKCON preaching centre.
New Navadvipa is a tranquil place in a busy
suburb. Many visitors appreciate the settings and
peaceful atmosphere.

Prior to moving to New Navadvipa, ISKCON

home for almost 2 years. From this base prasadam
was cooked for Food for Life and festivals were
held at a nearby school.

Our restaurant, Gauranga’s Higher Taste, opened
its doors in the last quarter of 2014. It has become
popular with the community.

In 2014 New Navadvipa welcomed a special new
resident, a cow named Laxmi Priya. Laxmi Priya
gave birth to Nitai Priya, a beautiful calf, on the
auspicious eve of the Appearance of Lord
