In fact it is a tragedy of catastrophic proportions when a singer loses their voice or has difficulty singing in tune due to vocal illness. We all hate to sound bad, but more than this vocal illness will prevent us from earning our keep, taking that dream gig or the opportunity to showcase in front of someone who can make a difference to our career. Katy initially trained as an actress, working as a professional in the West End, repertory, TV and film for 10 years. She then went on to retrain as a Speech and Language Therapist.
