El Paso, Texas is a mecca for local music, but to me there are only a few bands that stand out above the
rest--and one of those bands is FALL 2 RISE. Members are, DANIEL KIMMELMAN (vocals/rhythm
guitar), ULRICH DELA FUENTE (lead guitar), JASON CORRAL (bass) and MIKEY (drums). These gentlemen
have been together for the past 8 years, with the exception of Jason Corral, who joined the band 2 months
ago and who is, without a doubt, the perfect fit on bass. Bands that have influenced FALL 2 RISE, that
have given them the rich mindset of Rock and Roll are acts such as SEVENDUST, BREAKING BENJAMIN,
GODSMACK and ALTER BRIDGE… and believe me, you can hear it in their music! They just released their
first single on ReverbNation, "Watching You", earlier this week, with plans in December for their first CD
release and a support tour to start in February. In my opinion, this is a “must see” band, an entertaining
show full of straight-up Rock and Roll. I know, I've seen and photographed them a half dozen times, and
to my amazement, the show gets better and better each time!
