machine-like drums, with a screaming guitar solo. I found “Portal of Fear” interesting and worthy of any horror film,
rivalling CRADLE OF FILTH and in the brilliant style of THERION. The last track on the album “Commemorate the
Fallen” is excellent—with beautiful singing by Maya, a brilliant choir sound in the refrain, all supported by epic
performances of very talented musicians.
Worthy also of mention are: “Nuntii Belli”; where head-banging style meets operatic singing, “Devoid Of Sanity”;
with more fabulous vocal performances, “Embrace the Sorrow”; with powerful drums and elements of Power Metal
and “Web of Shadows”; with its kick-ass
sounds and screaming guitar solo in
STRATOVARIUS style.
