Skoot: That’s why it took so long in between CD’s. We weren’t going to put out a song until it was right and they wanted it. They emailed us. They called us. Danno: We would write a song, play it at a show and ask people if they liked it and surprisingly people were brutally honest. Speed: We look at it like this--the fans are gonna buy the CD’s. They should have every right to say what they want. Our style is gonna change again. We have to grow to fit with what’s going on in the world (of music). JP: Isn’t music a journey? Speed: Life is a journey. It’s not a destination. Skoot: We’re not trying to write BS. We’re not trying to commercially copycat stuff. JP: You know, there is one song though that you never brought before the CD was released… Skoot: What was that? JP: “Used to Fly”…prior to the CD release show, that song was never played live. Danno: We write from the heart. There are a lot emotions with that song. You get a peek inside who we are with every song. Speed: I couldn’t sing it. From my part of the writing it had a lot to do with my mom passing away. Getting through the song was not an easy task…it’s still tough to get through it. JP: I think we all have a favorite song. What is your favorite SilverTung song? Speed: Wow! What is my favorite SilverTung song? Personally, I would have to say “Never Too Late” because of where the song came from me. I wrote that song in very desperate times in my life. Lyrically, it was very tough for me to write it. JP: What about you, Danno? Danno: The song that is my favorite is not the song I he
