And what advice would he give an upcoming musician?
“Work hard and take good care of the business side of what you’re doing. Take your craft seriously, be
professional. Do all the small things right, show up on time, have your gear set up and be someone others
can rely on. Portray yourself as you want others to see you.”
“How do you want others to know you?” I asked.
“I want people to hear my music, I consider myself a composer whose main instrument happens to be the
guitar. I love to write and create music. It’s like opening a box for no other reason but to see what’s inside.
I'm thirty-three and I get to wake up each day and play music…life is good. I’m very lucky. It’s all I ever
wanted to do.”
