The tiltable ROPS / FOPS / OPS cab , the big side doors and the swingout oil cooler assure excellent access to daily service points , engine and hydraulic filters .
Both proportional and reversible fan are available and both guarantee fuel economy and power saving .
PT-475 has also been equipped with an oversized engine radiator , allowing the machine to operate in hot climates . The radiator comes with coarse fins , preventing it from getting plugged by dust and dirt and making cleaning easier .

PT-175 forestry mulcher The smallest , lightest vehicle in the PT range , designed for those who work with compact equipment ( such as skid steers ) but who are on the lookout for a more powerful , productive alternative to extend their working possibilities .
It is available with driver ’ s cab and with radio control . The PT-175 uses a 4-cylinder Cummins Stage IIIA QSB4.5 , 4,500 cm3 engine with a maximum power of 123 kW ( 165 CV ) at 2,000 rpm .
In 2016 , the PT-175 underwent a series of technical improvements that have improved performance further .
Remote control : Remote control technology enables PT-175 to operate in dangerous conditions and on steep slopes . It is able to operate uphill , downhill and sideways , without putting the operator into risky and unsafe situations and avoiding an uncomfortable seating position for the operator .
An innovative remote control ensures accurate guidance of the vehicle at a range of up to 1,000 m . All controls and displays the operator would normally see in the cab are on the remote-control unit .
Furthermore , the runtime of the batteries is up to 10 hours and the tilting remote control unit can be opened by a manual pump , which allows easy access and inspecting of all components located underneath .
Accessible and nimble : The frame redesign looked at making the PT-175 leaner , resulting in a more accessible engine compartment – the internal roll-bar has been removed for a much better access to the engine and related components , the machine has a lighter main frame and improved undercarriage connection , big side doors guarantee easy access and perfect serviceability , and the rear of the frame is hinged and can be opened for efficient radiator maintenance . Undercarriage : An even more important improvement is the new undercarriage :
Two upper rollers ( previous model had one upper roller only ) better guide the track chains , with upper and lower rollers now stronger than the previous ones . Sealed and lubricated track chains provide longer life for chain , pins and bushings , while a wider sprocket and idler avoid twisting and damage to the track chain .

and stronger tensioning device , and the lubricated chain with ‘ split connection ’ allows easier removal and installation of the track chain . The track pad bolt size has been upgraded to M14 ( previous M12 ) for stronger fastening , while an even ‘ heavier-duty ’ final drive with improved sealing and end cover fastening has been included .

As an option , the PT-175 can be equipped with a proportional ( so-called variable pitch ) and reversible sucker fan . Based on radiator temperatures ( coolant , intercooler and hydraulic oil ), the blades automatically adjust their position in the most efficient and effective way . This results in less power absorbed by the fan and lower fuel consumption , as well as less air and dust flow crossing the engine compartment , helping to keep it clean .
