John Deere has a complete fleet of machines to build and maintain forest roads
Excavators In the 30 t excavator market , the John Deere G-series 300G LC is bigger and more powerful than its predecessors , boasting 19 % more horsepower and 17 % more swing torque and larger hydraulic pumps .
The 300G LC features a 223 hp certified Final Tier 4 John Deere 6.8 litre engine . Operators don ’ t have to worry about diesel particulate filter ( DPF ) cleaning as it still occurs automatically with no impact to machine operation – John Deere ’ s DPF can go up to 15,000 hours before ash removal . Like its counterparts , the 300G LC features excellent total fluid economy ( diesel fuel and DEF ).
In the cab , the 300G LC offers generous legroom , noise-isolating silicone-filled mounts and sculpted mechanical-suspension high-back seats to elevate operator comfort . The hood design ensures optimal visibility to the sides and rear , and a multi-language LCD monitor and rotary dial provides access to a wealth of information and functions .
To increase uptime , John Deere designed the 300G LC with a larger hood for improved engine access . For convenience , the nine-pin diagnostic connector was moved into the cab to reduce diagnostic testing time for technicians . Other improvements include a single side ground level fluid filter service , which moves the engine oil , fuel , and hydraulic pilot oil filters to ground level on the right side of the machine and adds a service door for easy access to change filters .
Motor graders The John Deere G-Series motor grader models come standard equipped with conventional mechanical levers positioned in the industry accepted pattern and deliver precise , predictable loweffort control . Most notably , the 772GP motor grader offers superior productivity to help operators pave the way to the worksite .
The 772GP was designed to handle any terrain . Increased engine horsepower , torque , and blade pull deliver generous power and lugging ability to easily pull through tough spots or tackle steep hills . Its heavy-duty front and rear axles and increased maximum operating weight provide more versatility for attachments on a jobsite . New Eco mode helps optimize fuel use , decreasing operating costs by five to 10 %.
The cabin of the motor grader provides first-rate control and comfort to reduce operator fatigue . Eight armrest-mounted fingertipactuated controls , including steering lever , are arranged in the industry-standard pattern on each side of the steering wheel . Further with high / wide-back and heated lower cushion , the 772GP motor grader ’ s air-suspension seat provides exceptional daylong comfort . Automated cross-slope simplifies holding a consistent slope by reducing operation to a single lever .
Additional cab features include an upgraded LCD monitor with visibility to machine conditions and diagnostic codes . The gateless shifter design builds on the success of the John Deere exclusive Event-Based Shifting technology , allowing operators to go directly from forward to reverse in any gear .
