John Deere H415 harvester head equipped
with the optional MultiSpeed feeding
The H415 harvester head equipped
with the optional MultiSpeed
feeding makes feeding and
delimbing an astonishingly smooth
process. The head is equipped
with feed motors featuring three
variable displacements, which are
automatically activated by control
system according to tree diameter,
feed speed and tree species. The
delimbing starts at 1st gear and
MultiSpeed provides high torque at
low speed. The 1st gear is designed
for starting with a large tree
diameter. The 2nd gear is activated
after a certain speed limit. This
gear provides torque and speed
needed in normal processing. The
3rd gear is for the top of the tree
and it provides highest possible
speed at lower torque rates.
MultiSpeed has become a popular
option for H415 harvester head.
The option offers most possible
hydraulic power and feed torque
for customers working on sites with
large trees and heavy branches.
50% of the H415 harvester heads
are delivered with MultiSpeed
function.
Rayonier acquires 95,100 acres of industrial timberlands
Rayonier Inc. has entered into three
transactions with separate sellers
to acquire approximately 95,100
acres of high-quality industrial
timberlands located in Florida,
Georgia and South Carolina for
an aggregate purchase price of
approximately $217 million, or
$2,280 per acre.
Rayonier expects to finance
the acquisitions with cash on hand
and the proceeds of a follow-on
offering of Rayonier common
shares, which the company also
announced today.“The acquisitions
are representative of Rayonier’s
commitment to disciplined capital
allocation and active portfolio
management,” said David Nunes,
President and CEO.
“These acquisitions are
comprised of highly productive
properties that meaningfully
bolster Rayonier’s footprint in our
strongest U.S. South markets.
We expect these acquisitions to
generate a strong cash yield from
timber harvest operations, which
will thereby improve our overall
cash flow profile, increase the
percentage of our Adjusted EBITDA
generated from timber segments,
and enhance our ‘pure-play’ timber
REIT focus,” concluded Nunes.
