Halloween Attractions
It’s dark; there are strange creatures running around the streets; your stash of chocolates
is disappearing quicker than the sun on a bank holiday; and it’s October 31st - this can
only mean one thing – Halloween! If you, like the big kid in all of us, want to celebrate
Halloween, Sussex style, there’s a spooktacular amount of events going on across the
county this holiday to keep you entertained.

There’s lots of freaky fun to be had this
Halloween at Newhaven Fort…Dare you
venture into the Terrifying Tunnels to see
what…or who…is waiting for you? The tunnels
are open daily from Saturday 22nd – Monday
31st October, or you can learn some scary
skills of your own in the ‘Spook School’ - the
creepy classes run daily from Monday 24th to
Friday 28th, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, priced
at £4.60 per child. Places are limited and

At Drusillas Park this October, be prepared to
be scared! There are five different Halloween
horrors to encounter, including ‘Haunted
Heights’, in which your little ones must venture
through creepy, cobwebbed corridors to find
twin witches, Hocus and Pocus. Watch out, they
like to play hide and shriek! Next is the ‘Spooky
Happenings’ event, in which you will discover the
hidden secret of Drusillas… ‘Mummy Mayhem’
will have you running through the maze of temple
ruins, but watch out for the mummy and its
curse! You will also be able to take part in ‘Creepy
Crawly Encounters’ (if you’re brave enough) and
meet the Gruffalo when he visits the park!

Dare you visit Tulley’s Farm after dark to
experience the most ghoulish, grisly, gruesome
haunted attractions around? There are eight
different haunted attractions for the grownups
at Tulley’s, and tickets are selling fast. Visit
the site on selected days during October to
experience Coven of 13; PanDEMONium’s
Carnival; The Chop Shop; The Colony; The
Cellar Haunted House; Horrorwood Haunted
Hayride; Hell-ements; and The Creepy
Cottage. Each attraction features live actors,
special effects and plenty of scary surprises!
