10cc // 3 Oct
Among the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular
music, 10cc are one of very few acts to have achieved commercial,
critical and creative success in equal measure, with their current live
incarnation still able to sell out major concert halls. Celebrating the 40th
anniversary of their seminal album, Sheet Music, the band will perform
the album in it s entirety, plus other hits including Rubber Bullets, I’m
Not In Love, and Dreadlock Holiday – it’s no surprise the band has sold
more than 30 million albums around the world.
Autumn Countryside Show // 8-9 Oct
Visitors to the Autumn Countryside Show on October 8th and 9th will
experience the wonderful autumnal sights and sounds of a traditional
harvest. This popular seasonal show features traditional working
demonstrations including heavy horses and vintage tractors ploughing,
steam-powered threshing, plus a horticultural show, woodland and
rural craft demonstrations, displays, and competitions. The museum’s
40-acre downland site is the perfect location for this annual festival,
which celebrates and showcases many traditional countryside activities.
Working plough horses are a favourite with visitors of all ages, with
Shires among the teams of draught horses at work. Vintage tractors will
be busy preparing the ground for sowing after the harvest and there will
be a display of tractors and farm implements for visitors to enjoy too.

Pepys (famous diarist and protector of parmesan) to produce this
intriguing menu.
