Dr Bunhead (Brainiac, Blue

an explosive show. He
explores everyday bits and
bobs, combining recycling
with science to inspire budding
scientists of all ages to get their hands dirty, but not the carpet. With his
array of rainbow fountains, fizz rockets, fire bubbles and all sorts of other
awesome science contraptions, you’ll leave armed with heaps of safe
and spectacular experiments to try at home, and some you definitely
shouldn’t! Health warning: Dr Bunhead shows may cause serious
addiction to science.

Iolanthe // 30 July
Gilbert and Sullivan’s most magical comic
opera is set half in Fairyland, half in Westminster
– although both places seem to be full of
the same bumbling Lords. Its hilarious and
surprisingly topical satire pokes fun at love,
class and politics. Here it gets the complete
Illyria treatment, faithfully performed by a
reduced cast and accompanied by a Musical
Director on keyboard to leave you with a song
in your heart. Suitable for all ages 5+. Targeted at: all ages 10+.
7pm. Price: £15
