DRESS IT UP!
From a simple vinaigrette to a hearty blue cheese, salad dressings can
bring out the best in your salads; and they’re one of the simplest things
you can make in the kitchen. Try one of these unique recipes this summer
to spice up your greens!
Green Goddess Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
2 anchovy fillets (minced)
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 Tsp fresh tarragon (chopped)
1 salad onion (chopped)
1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped)
1 tsp fresh chives (chopped)
Zesty Lemon Salad Dressing
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tsp sea salt
Black pepper to taste
Sweet & Spicy Mustard Dressing
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup English or Dijon mustard
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup honey
Classic Blue Cheese Dressing
1.5 cups soured cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp rapeseed oil
1 tbsp white vinegar
140g crumbled blue cheese
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
Chinese-style Dressing
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp honey
Salt and pepper to taste
Sweet Poppy Seed Dressing
1/2 cup honey
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp poppy seeds
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
