Blacksmiths In
The Field

As part of the Festival
of Chichester, The
Blacksmiths have
created a relaxed
family-friendly festival
to kick-start the
summer with live
music, local ales and
children’s activities.
There is a fantastic
line up of live musical
acts including Lady
and The Dukes,
Superstrings and
The Heart Shaped
Buttons throughout the afternoon and evening as well as an Open Mic
session so you too can take to the stage. For the children there will be
entertainment, face painting and tractor trailer rides around the local
fields. A BBQ will be available with locally sourced meats, plus ales in
the Beer Tent or you can book a table in the VIP area, the Tinwood
Terrace. There is plenty of parking and activities for all the family, so
bring your picnic blanket, find a hay bale, and relax and enjoy the music.

BBC New Generation Artists: Louis Schwizgebel

In 2014 the Glynde Place Concert Series was started to showcase the
rising talent of musicians from the BBC New Generation Artists scheme.
Following the success of these concerts Glynde Place are extending
the series to three evenings this year. On 20th June you can hear pianist
Louis Schwizgebel, a BBC New Generation Artist 2013-15, and one of
the rising stars on the international piano scene.
