Happy as can be at this year ’ s Taste of Kent Awards ( p99 )
April is one of my favourite months of the year , for lots of different reasons : half term events , nice weather ( sometimes ), and most importantly , Easter chocolate .
Last month , I had the privilege of attending the 2017 Taste of Kent Awards – an annual event to celebrate the ‘ cream of the crop ’ of Kent ’ s food and drink . Besides being a great excuse to dress up in my fanciest garb and do my nails , we enjoyed a three-course gourmet dinner , and loved seeing the winners take to the stage to accept their much-deserved awards .
