Keith Rogans , managing director , gave a short speech thanking all for coming but making particular mention of Clive Emson who he started with from school and gave him his ground roots training . Monica Snare , a previous partner who worked with Keith until her retirement in 2007 , also attended .
John Rayner , previous senior partner , was given the task of cutting the amazing cake in the form of a house with a ‘ sold ’ slip across it , baked and designed by Jami Rogans of Harlow Bakes & Cakes .
The move from their former offices at 17-19 High Street Hythe was a hard move , having been there since 1929 ! But the expansion of the business in more recent years , in particular into new homes , meant that they were desperately short of space . The new offices give more than four times the space than in the old building , and give the ability to expand further in the future .
