They live in the Little Kingdom , a tiny land where flowers and grass rise high above them and every day is an adventure . Ben and Holly have fun and games helping Gaston the ladybird clean up his messy cave , they go on a trip into The Big World with tooth-fairy Nanny Plum , they even plan a surprise birthday party for King Thistle , and oops , let ’ s hope there ’ s not another jelly flood ! ARTS AWARD ‘ DISCOVER IN A DAY ’ // 28 JAN
Children aged 5 + will have the opportunity to gain a ‘ Discover ’ Arts Award – all in one day ! Children , with a parent or guardian , will investigate different art forms , find out about an artist or collector , create a piece of art and share their work . The museum is lucky to have Graham Clarke as their guest artist to work with the children ! Upon completion , a certificate is awarded by Trinity . Please note , children ’ s work is moderated by the team and certificates are ordered on completion . Delivery of certificates can take 6 to 8 weeks . A museum certificate is awarded on completion of the day and the official Arts Award Certificate will be sent or can be collected from the museum . All resources will be provided , however this is a full day activity with a 30 to 45 minute lunch break so please bring a packed lunch or eat in the cafe . Children must be accompanied by an adult , who can work with up to three children . Booking essential .

Sue Perkins conducts and presents music for children in a spectacular show with the Orion Orchestra . Programme includes music from The Nutcracker , plus songs from Shrek , Aladdin , Frozen and a chance to meet The Simpsons . From 1pm there will be the chance for children to try out instruments prior to the concert .
