Christmas Pantomime:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
9TH DEC 2016 TO 2ND JAN 2017
Mirror mirror on the wall… where’s the greatest
panto of them all? It has to be Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs at the Assembly Hall Theatre,
of course!
Following last year’s record-breaking
pantomime, the Assembly Hall Theatre is delighted
to be bringing Snow White to the stage from
Friday 9th December 2016 to Monday 2nd
January 2017.
The legendary Su Pollard, famous for playing
the loveable Maplin's chalet maid, Peggy
Ollerenshaw in Hi-de-Hi!, will headline the
Assembly Hall Theatre’s Christmas 2016
pantomime as the Wicked Queen. One of the
nation's favourite entertainers, Su is known for
her roles as Ivy Teasdale, the rather naive maid,
the daughter of Alf in You Rang M’Lord? and as
the scatter-brained ticket clerk Ethel in Oh, Doctor
Beeching! A veteran pantomime performer, she
has also appeared in numerous pantomimes and
more recently, in various TV shows such as
Benidorm and Loose Women, as well as on stage
in numerous productions including Menopause
the Musical and Romeo and Juliet.
Joining Su as the court jester Muddles will
be Jamie Rickers (from CiTV and Nickelodeon)
with Millie Booth as Snow White and Jamie Steen
as Nursie. Completing the line up will be the
34
Seven Dwarfs creating more madness and
mayhem as they try to keep Snow White safe
from the evil clutches of the Wicked Queen.
