WIN two tickets to see Bryan Adams!
Siege of 1216 // 13-14 Aug
// 13 Aug
LHG Live are delighted to
announce that legendary
multi-platinum recording artist
Bryan Adams is to perform
at The Spitfire Ground, St
Lawrence in Canterbury,
home of Kent County Cricket
Club, on Saturday 13th
August as part of his
European ‘Get Up’ Tour.
The tour follows the
huge success of the release
of his latest album Get Up at
the end of last year. One of
the world's best-selling artists
of all time, Bryan Adams has
sold over 100 million albums
worldwide and Get Up is his
thirteenth studio album.
Bryan rose to fame in North
America with his 1983 album
Cuts Like a Knife and turned into a global star with his 1984 album Reckless
which produced some of his best known songs including "Run to You" and
"Summer of '69", which are still two of his most famous and popular songs.
In 1991, he released "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You", one of the bestselling singles of all time, which appeared on the soundtrack album from
the film Robin Hood:
Prince of Thieves.
Bryan Adams said: “The Get Up Tour is shaping up to be a fantastic
summer. We have seen such a great response from fans that we wanted
to play as many places as possible, which is why I am delighted to now
announce the Canterbury concert. We’ll be rocking the stage with songs
from the new album, which I think are some of my finest yet, and of course
there’ll be some of the old favourites, too.”
Jamie Clifford, CEO of Kent County Cricket Club said: “We love
bringing music to Canterbury and look forward to welcoming Bryan Adams
to Kent. He has a reputation as an entertaining live performer and we hope
music fans can come along and enjoy a night to remember.”
