Titanic in Photographs Exhibition // 23 July – 21 Aug
This summer , West Kent ' s largest shopping centre is bringing to Kent the in-depth story of the world ’ s most famous ship . This unique exhibition features almost 100 large-scale period photographs that tell the story of Titanic – from conception to her tragic demise . Alongside are over 130 genuine artefacts from Titanic and her identical twin sister ship , Olympic . These rare and often unique items bring the photographs to life , transporting the visitor back in time and placing them in the picture .

Each week in August , discover a different activity in the spiralling Yew Maze , from time challenges to hidden objects waiting to be discovered as you solve clues . This daily activity is fun for all ages and is bound to challenge everyone as you attempt to reach the centre . Return to civilisation through an underworld grotto , complete with macabre forms and mythical beasts created from shells , minerals and wood .

Bring the whole family to see how many creatures and critters you can catch and identify in the pond at Tyland Barn . Join in with a one-hour pond dipping session to find and catch a variety of pond life , then get up close and view them through a microscope and identify what you have found ( every participant will get a spotter sheet to take home ).
