bronze for the 800-metre race in
the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Mark Rowland
Born in Watersfield, West Sussex, Mark Rowland is a retired steeplechase
runner who won a bronze medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
Georgina Harland
Georgina Harland from Kent is a retired modern pentathlete (the pentathlon
is a gruelling event that combines five different sports. These sports are:
fencing, freestyle swimming (200m), show jumping, pistol shooting and
a 3200m cross-country run. She won bronze for this event in the 2004
Athens’ games.
Sean Baldock
Sean Baldock of Hastings is a
former sprinter who now coaches
athletes himself. He competed in
the 400-metre race in the 2000
Sydney Olympics and the 4 x 400metre relay in the 2004 Athens
Olympics.
Sean King
Sean King from West Wickham
plays water polo and took park in
the 2012 London Olympics.
Nick Buckfield
Hailing from Crawley, Nick Buckfield
is an Olympic pole vaulter whose
personal best jump is 5.80 metres.
He has competed in the 1996
(Atlanta) and 2004 (Athens)
Olympics.
