SUCCESSFUL SPONSORSHIP FOR TOWN ’ S HALF MARATHON CONFIRMED FOR SECOND YEAR
The Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital is delighted to announce that it has agreed to sponsor next year ’ s Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon , following its successful involvement in February .
NEW ADDITIONS TO THE 2016 KENT COUNTY SHOW
The private healthcare provider contributed a range of expert services to enhance the fitness and health of the 1,500 + runners and to ensure the smooth running of the event . “ We were delighted to be able to lend our expertise across a range of disciplines to help contribute to the success of the 33rd Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon . The partnership was such a success – and an obvious fit with our philosophy of complete health , fitness and wellbeing – that we are thrilled to be continuing it next year to help make the 34th road race even more successful ,” said Joe Hazel , director of Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells .
The 2016 Kent County Show on 8th , 9th , 10th July is looking forward to the regular mix of animals , farming , food and wonderful trade stands but organisers are delighted to announce a few new additions .
Taking centre stage on all three days in the main Astor Ring , will be the stunning Bolddog Lings Freestyle Motocross ( FMX ) Display Team who reached the semi-final of Britain ’ s Got Talent in 2014 . Another new feature will be Joseph ’ s Amazing Racing Pigs , a number of rare breed pigs including ; Tamworth ’ s , Gloucester Old Spots and Saddlebacks , which will fill the cattle ring with their amusing antics .
The Show has also increased the free entertainment for children with the introduction of pony rides , Punch and Judy , the interactive Tractor Ted area and providing the opportunity to meet Peppa Pig and her brother George *.
The Spitfire will once again be soaring over the Showground on all three days and Titan the Robot and the Sheep Show will be on hand to entertain you during your visit . With over 40 food and drink stands , a selection of live music , the beautiful Flower Show and woodland area and over 2,000 animals on site throughout the three days , it ’ s a must for everyone in Kent .

The Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is one of the biggest events in the UK run by runners for runners , being organised voluntarily by The Tunbridge Wells Harriers .
In addition to offering a stunning course for runners of all abilities , the Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon also raises money for charity and donates all surplus funds . Over the last five years alone the race has donated more than £ 120,000 to local causes . The main beneficiaries of the 2016 race were The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust , Tunbridge Wells Counselling Centre and The Bridge Trust .

BRYAN ADAMS TO PERFORM AT KENT COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
LHG Live are delighted to announce that legendary multi-platinum recording artist Bryan Adams is to perform at The Spitfire Ground , St Lawrence in Canterbury , home of Kent County Cricket Club , on Saturday 13th August as part of his European Get Up Tour .
The tour follows the huge success of the release of his latest album Get Up at the end of last year .
