CHARITY
THE CREATIVE COLLECTIVE
The Creative Collective is based in
Park Mall, Ashford and is a
collective of artists of all disciplines.
They have come together to build
a community to enhance the
creative experiences of local
residents and organisations. They
work with schools, colleges,
businesses and community groups
to deliver events and unforgettable
cultural experiences.
They offer themed exhibitions, talks
and presentations, workshops,
courses, advice and information,
volunteering and networking
opportunities, and events around
Ashford town as well as an
exhibition space which can be hired
daily, weekly or for longer term.
The Creative Collective offers you
the opportunity to join them for the
showing of independent films and
documentaries with a chance for a
Q&A session with directors. On
Mondays, they run art workshops
from beginners to advanced with
professional tutors helping you
every step of the way. These
workshops are delivered over four
weeks, either morning or afternoon,
and run consecutively so that you
can continue your artistic journey
uninterrupted. Life drawing sessions
are held every Wednesday from
2pm to 4pm.

They are particularly keen on supporting
young local artists and give them a
space to show their work and learn
the skills needed to market and sell
their work, as well as merchandising
opportunities. They work with young
artists, designers and photographers
who offer a number of services to their
local community. If you need any help
marketing your business, pop in and see what they can do for you.
In May each year, they deliver their arts and crafts festival, ArtiGras, when
they are joined by local artists, makers, musicians and performers for two
days of fun-filled cultural activities and events. This year, the festival is held
on 20th and 21st May from 10am to 5pm in Park Mall. Stall spaces are
available for the festival until 15th May. If you are a young artist, they have
a special stall offer so do get in touch to find out more.
