THE HYTHE IMPERIAL
The Hythe Imperial is an iconic hotel situated in a prominent position on
the seafront in Hythe, with breathtaking views of the coastline as far as the
eye can see, backed with the rolling hills of Sandgate and beyond – discover

Inspired by its local surroundings, the Hythe
Imperial is a glorious 4-star hotel which has stood
at the heart of Hythe for hundreds of years.
Over the past three years the hotel has been
going through a multi-million pound refurbishment
program bringing the hotel back to its former
glory. It is currently renovating the second floor
bedrooms after the first phase which was
completed in December 2015.

The hotel prides itself on offering a good choice
of quality dishes and where possible use the
finest ingredients from the best local suppliers
including wonderfully fresh fish and seafood –
and with dishes that change with every season,
you can be sure they’re always at the very peak
of their flavor. To accompany your meal, treat
yourself from the wine list which has been created
with some of the best wines from around the
world for you to enjoy at affordable prices.

The second phase is underway and due to be
completed in May 2016, the final phase which
will be the third and fourth floor bedrooms will
commence in January 2017 and when finalised
there will be 96 bedrooms all with air conditioning
and decorated in a very unique way with each
room being different.

Launching in June will be their Moet & Chandon
Bar which be the place to meet and while the
summer evenings away with a selection of some
of the best Champagne in opulent surroundings.
This has been a plan in the making for a number
of years and welcomed by the local community.

something more informal, The Hythe Imperial
offers a variety of dining options to suit all needs.
And whether your dinner guests are colleagues,
family or friends, the staff are passionate about
providing a professional and friendly service.

The quaint coastal town of Hythe has a lovely
atmosphere, so come and also visit the town

whist soaking up the panoramic sea views from
the hotel which is just a stone’s throw from the

Weddings at The Hythe Imperial are spectacular,
featuring the awe-inspiring Imperial Ballroom
which was a finalist for the WOW factor at the
Kent Wedding Awards. The hotel offers a truly
unique backdrop for your big day, and is one of
the largest wedding venues in Kent, capable of
offering a range of elegantly styled suites, all
perfect for your celebrations.
With four dedicated and flexible meeting rooms,
the hotel can accommodate up to 200 guests.
All meeting rooms come equipped with LCD
projectors and feature WiFi. Some even boast
unrivalled views of the English Channel – providing
the perfect backdrop for your event. With its
