After coffee and cake, take time to explore at your leisure. Botanical painting Wednesday 13 April 9.30 – 4.30pm £75 Botanical illustrator Hazel West–Sherring will lead a day’s course in observational drawing and watercolour techniques. Enjoy an exclusive visit to the garden followed by a practical session studying a flowering bulb and create a watercolour worksheet. The day will include tea, cake and a light lunch. Garden writing workshop with Jackie Bennett Thursday 21 April 9.30am - 4.30pm £75 Whether writing for pleasure or writing to become published, this one-day course will guide you through the basic skills of garden writing. The course will help you find your writing ‘voice’ and how to choose your garden subjects. No previous experience is necessary. The day will include tea, cake and lunch. An evening with Anna Pavord Saturday 7 May 6pm-9.30pm £75 An evening celebrating the bulbs of Sissinghurst. Wander around the garden at your leisure, with a drink in the evening sun.
