JOIN THE FOOTBALL FAMILY
An exciting partnership between Demelza
Hospice Care for Children and the Kent
Football Association, supported by Kent
Schools FA, is calling everyone in the county
to join the football family.
The new fundraising drive is looking for
schools, youth and adult football teams, and
businesses throughout Kent to sign up and
take part in some champion fundraising
activities related to the beautiful game –
with prizes for those that make it to the top
of the league.
One of its goals is to update the soft play
room at Demelza’s hospice in Bobbing,
Sittingbourne. This is a safe and fun space
where children in the charity’s care can relax
and play using specialist sensory equipment.
Football-loving Lewis, 10, is one the
youngsters to benefit from all that’s on offer
at the hospice. He loves playing FIFA on the
Xbox and swimming in the hydrotherapy pool.
