Ashford Create Music Festival // July
The Create Music Festival is one of the biggest
free music festivals in Kent. It is Ashford's most
popular and established annual music event
attracting over 13,000 people throughout the
day. Local acts perform alongside regional and
national headline acts across many stages, and
there is also street theatre, market stalls, food
and drink areas, and children's rides.
Apple Fair // October
The annual apple fair at Perry Court Farm boasts
over 200 different varieties of apples. But it’s
more than apples; there are country crafts,
tastings, an apple pie competition, Morris dancers,
vintage engines, shire horses, refreshments and
much more!
Christmas Market // December
Come and shop at the festive market for a wide
selection of quality gifts, cards, games and
decorations. The event was born out of a desire
to celebrate the Christmas spirit in Ashford whilst
browsing around the bustling stalls and soaking
up the unique atmosphere beneath the twinkling
lights in Church Road. Here you can find
handmade crafts including seasonal decorations,
cards, bags, jewellery, textiles and accessories,
available at affordable prices. Hot food and drinks
are provided by local groups.
