It has been a joy to see.” (New Parent) Easily accessible by public transport, school bus and car, Trinity School attracts pupils from a wide area. Its strong academic results regularly place it among the top schools in the country and it has achieved an average of over 90% A*B grades at A-level since 2009. The School admits boys from the age of 10 (last year of primary) and welcomes girls into the Sixth Form. Trinity's Music Department is one of the best known in Britain, providing truly remarkable opportunities. Trinity was recently awarded the prestigious Pro Corda Special Award for Schools in recognition of its “outstanding contribution” to chamber music playing. The only school choir to be invited to sing regularly in the BBC Proms, its pupils have sung on prime time TV shows including the Royal Variety Performance, Children in Need and with stars such as Michael Bublé and Florence and the Machine. They have also recorded numerous blockbuster soundtracks, most recently for Disney’s Maleficent and the latest Hunger Games movies, Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2. Trinity Boys Choir performs frequently at the English National Opera, the Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne, and with major London orchestras as well as internationally. Trinity has an outstanding reputation for sporting excellence and encourages participation from all students. The quality of its facilities played a major part in Trinity being selected by the Rugby World Cup 2015 organisers to host the French team during the tournament.
