can’t win, but the girls in Clarks are really helpful
and we finally decided on this pair.
It is lovely having Jake off with us, and I’m
determined to make the most of the warm weather
before both of them are at school. Dom took a
spontaneous day in lieu last week and as I’d already
planned to take the kids to Bluewater, he joined and
we had a picnic by one of the lakes; it was beautiful!
You’d never think there was so much parkland there,
but it was idyllic. The kids could run around and
feed the ducks and Dom and I got to relax on a
bench in the shade #perfection.

I’ve got a baby shower the day after we get back
from our holiday (the fourth one this year!), but
thankfully I remembered to pick up the presents at
the weekend so they’re all wrapped and ready to
go! They haven’t found out the sex so I chose a
gorgeous mobile for the crib – figuring neutral was
best – and this gift set for Lisa. I’d have loved some
pampering goodies when I was pregnant with mine;
I was far from glowing that’s for sure!
This time next month I’ll be the mother of two
schoolchildren, and while spending time in the
baby departments certainly makes me broody,
managing a full eight hours sleep on most night \
