SPORTY DEBUT FOR

Samsung in Maidstone
Visitors to Maidstone’s new dedicated Samsung showroom will find that it has a very sporty feel to
it. The Samsung Boutique, which is located in the town’s prestigious Royal Star Arcade, is getting set
to demonstrate its incredible array of products through a fantastic summer of sport, while its expert
team will be headed by a retail expert who also happens to be an ex-professional footballer!

Operated by Abba Hi-tech – a long-established,
family-run audio-visual retail group that has served
Kent’s audiophiles for nearly 30 years – the
Samsung Boutique is unlike any other Samsung
store. It is the first time that a store has showcased
the brand without following the manufacturer’s
traditional showroom architecture – the result
getting a resounding thumbs-up from Samsung
senior management who attended the recent
grand opening.
To celebrate the launch of the showroom and
the fun, yet professional service that customers
enjoy, the Samsung Boutique is also hosting its
exclusive Samsung selfie competition. All visitors
have to do to be in with a chance of winning a
Samsung prize is to take a selfie inside the store
with Samsung signage visible in the background.
Judging the selfie competition and providing
visitors with a first-class audio-visual retail

experience is Aaron Taylor, Showroom Manager.
As well as extensive experience in prestige retail,
Aaron previously played for Leyton Orient and
Barnet. Due to injury, he no longer plays
competitively, but he uses his talent to coach
future footballer stars at the Arsenal Academy
and, closer to home, the Maidstone Kestrels.
As Aaron, 23, explains, he’s certainly looking
forward to providing customers with an amazing
Samsung experience: “It’s fantastic to represent
such a forward thinking and prestige brand, which
in the last few years has become a firmly
established household name that is synonymous
with quality and innovation.
“At the Samsung Boutique we don’t just believe
in selling televisions; instead, we provide a full
consultation service where customers are able
to discuss their requirements and from which we
can highlight the TV that is suitable for them not

just for now, but will also serve their needs in the
future.
“The Samsung range has so much to offer and
it’s ideal to watch all this summer’s sporting
action on, plus the televisions even come with
built-in, interactive sports games to get viewers
in the mood. We can’t wait to welcome people
in-store – even if they’re not immediately thinking
about purchasing a Samsung television – and

their selfies!”
