the most environmentally aware suppliers,
ensuring your meal is as good as it gets – in every
way.
Red House
Red House – Red House, a National Trust
property in Bexleyheath, was the home of the
famous writer and artist, William Morris. Morris
founded the Arts and Crafts movement, and this
house pays homage to his style and creativity.
The building was designed by Philip Webb and
completed in 1860, and although Morris only
lived there for five years, he was incredibly happy
there, and left his mark on the beautiful interior.
Interesting features include stained glass windows,
paintings, and of course the iconic Morris
repeating pattern.
Danson House
Danson House – This Georgian villa has been

public. It is light and airy, full of splendour, and

themselves. Bexley Heritage has worked hard to
ensure that this is the place to visit when in
Bexleyheath.
Pancake Race // Feb
Each year, 16 teams take part in a knockout
competition to find Bexleyheath's fastest pancake
tossers!
Bamboo – Bamboo, in nearby Bexley Village, is
an exceptional Chinese restaurant serving
exquisite food in a relaxed atmosphere. Here you
can have traditional Chinese dishes such as crispy
duck, egg fried rice, and sweet and sour pork,
as well as more unusual delicacies including roast
duck with pineapple, chilli salt squid, and char
sui roast pork.
Civic Parade // Jun
Every June, the civic pride and public spirit of
Bexleyheath comes out in force during the Civic
Parade. This is a chance for the town to really
show itself in the best light, and offers visitors an
insight into what makes Bexleyheath tick.
Maharajah of Bexley – Known as one of the
