Meet the acrobats from the allmale Barely Methodical Troupe.
Young, fit and skilled, they handily
come in three sizes: small (Beren
D’Amico), medium (Charlie
Wheeller) and large (Louis Gift). The
lads won a Total Theatre Award at
this year’s Edinburgh Festival with
their outstanding debut show,
Bromance, and it’s easy to see
why. Filled with humour, heart and
impressive circus skills, it celebrates
all things blokey through a series
of risk-taking feats of balance,
corkscrewing acrobatics and funny
sketches. Suitable for age 8+.

UCA’s students in graphic design
respond to the themes of Home and
Away: Eduardo Paolozzi’s General
Dynamic F.U.N and photographs of

an exhibition about a sense of place.

in Le Havre have created diverse
graphic responses in a wide range of
media to the contrasting urban
environments of the high modernism
of Le Havre and the medieval
foundations of Canterbury.

From May this year,
the EM Forster
Theatre will become
the only venue in
Tonbridge to
broadcast NT Live,
an exciting initiative
to broadcast live
performances of the
best of British theatre
to cinemas and screens in venues in the UK and around the world, on their
full-stage size screen. The inaugural broadcast on 14th May at 7pm is
George Bernard Shaw’s, Man and Superman, with Academy Award nominee,
Ralph Fiennes, as Jack Tanner. A romantic comedy, an epic fairytale, a
fiery philosophical debate, Man and Superman asks fundamental questions
about how we live.
