EXPERT ADVICE ON COPING WITH DEMENTIA
Law firm Cripps is tackling one of the biggest
health and social challenges the country faces
head on.
One person is diagnosed with dementia
every three minutes in the UK, and to mark
Dementia Awareness Week (18th-24th May
2015), Cripps is hosting a free advice session
to explain and discuss the issues on Tuesday
19th May, 6pm, at its Kings Hill office. The event
is being organised in conjunction with awardwinning provider of live-in care services to older
people, The Good Care Group, which provides
live-in care services to the elderly.
“We will talk about some of the practical
and legal issues surrounding the care of people
with dementia, with particular emphasis on
relieving the pressure on their families,” said
Cripps partner, Anne Lewis, who sits on the
Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners
International Committee of the Special Interest
Group on mental capacity, and will chair the
event.
