An afternoon of readings by students studying on the Royal College of Art's
course, Critical Writing in Art & Design. The students will present a collection
of essays as a portrait of Turner Contemporary developed in collaboration
with the building’s architects, David Chipperfield Architects. Each of the
essays takes a new approach to writing on architecture, spending time
within a working building, and reflecting on its recent history and current
function.

Snowdrop Sensation

A festival of play and games, GEEK was first launched in February 2012
and is annually held at Kent's Winter Gardens. An ideal day out for families
and friends to meet, make, and play, the popular event boasts digital and
analogue activities for casual and dedicated gamers. There are over 1,000
playable video games to play on hundreds of consoles, including anything
from long lost favourites to current day finds. Other activities include board
