Each year, the agency provide their digital marketing services free of charge to a chosen charity, and this year it worked on the online presence of the Ann Robertson Centre, focusing on improving the website’s performance, as well as its overall local awareness. The site, which was relatively new and had no visits, now has hundreds of visitors per month and multiple first page positions on Google’s search results pages. Wendy Kelk, the manager of the Ann Robertson Centre, was very pleased with the results. She stated that the DigitalBeans team gave: “...sensible and helpful advice”, and praised it for working hard throughout the year on improvements to the website. DigitalBeans is now excited to announce that this year's chosen charity is Rising Sun, a Canterburybased organisation that offers help and guidance to victims of domestic violence and abuse. DigitalBeans hopes to help promote awareness of the charity by introducing a brand new website, and improve exposure by assisting with its social media. A spokesperson at the Rising Sun said: "We are extremely delighted that DigitalBeans has chosen to support us this year. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of people and businesses to help us to continue our vital work in our community. We're getting ready to celebrate our 35th anniversary and we need to reach all of those who need us or can support us in any way possible. This opportunity means we can continue to raise our profile – we're truly excited to see our new website."
