DigitalBeans, a Canterbury-based
digital marketing agency, has spent
the past year working with the Ann
Robertson Centre, a local
education, conference and training
centre run by national charity,
Pilgrims Hospices.
Each year, the agency provide their
digital marketing services free of
charge to a chosen charity, and
this year it worked on the online
presence of the Ann Robertson
Centre, focusing on improving the
website’s performance, as well as
its overall local awareness.
The site, which was relatively new
and had no visits, now has
hundreds of visitors per month and
multiple first page positions on
Google’s search results pages.
Wendy Kelk, the manager of the
Ann Robertson Centre, was very
pleased with the results. She stated
that the DigitalBeans team gave:
“...sensible and helpful advice”, and
praised it for working hard
throughout the year on
improvements to the website.
DigitalBeans is now excited to
announce that this year's chosen
charity is Rising Sun, a Canterburybased organisation that offers help
and guidance to victims of domestic
violence and abuse.
DigitalBeans hopes to help promote
awareness of the charity by
introducing a brand new website,
and improve exposure by assisting
with its social media.
A spokesperson at the Rising Sun
said: "We are extremely delighted
that DigitalBeans has chosen to
support us this year. As a charity,
we rely on the generosity of people
and businesses to help us to
continue our vital work in our
community. We're getting ready to
celebrate our 35th anniversary and
we need to reach all of those who
need us or can support us in any
way possible. This opportunity
means we can continue to raise
our profile – we're truly excited to
see our new website."
TV star, Phil Spencer, swapped properties for messy play as he visited
chYps, a Kent charity that provides hospice care for children at home.
The Location Location Location presenter became a patron after hearing
about the vital end-of-life cancer and respite care the charity provides to
seriously ill babies, children, and young adults across the county.
