MERRY CHRISTMAS IN BROMLEY

EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS HAVE BEEN LINED UP TO BOOST TRADE,
DELIVER FOOTFALL, AND MAKE IT AS ENJOYABLE AS POSSIBLE TO SHOP
IN THE BOROUGH'S TOWN CENTRES.
The countdown to Christmas has begun across the borough, with lights
switch-on shows and celebrative events taking place throughout November
and December. Bromley Town Centre even has a large Christmas tree and
nativity scene in Market Square, so look out for those while you do your
Christmas shopping. There have also been plenty of new arrivals in the
town centre, including the White Stuff, Hema, and the Reebok Fit Hub store
in the Glades Shopping Centre.
The Bromley North Village improvements to the public realm are also to be
completed in time for the busy Christmas shopping period. In a bid to
provide an economic boost to the historic area of East Street, High Street,
and Market Square, the £5.5 million scheme has installed new granite
paving, lamp columns, trees, and has already seen an increase in footfall
and fewer empty shop units. Other developments in the town centre include
an extension to the Glades Shopping Centre, which will involve a centre
upgrade, five new restaurants on the terrace, and a cinema-anchored leisure
