CHARITY HOSPICE TWILIGHT WALK IS COMING TO NORTH KENT chYps Children’s Hospice at Home’s sponsored Twilight Walk is back with a fantastic new route in Gravesend. Now in its sixth year, the annual event helps to raise much-needed funds for the Kent charity, so that it can provide care to seriously ill children and their families. Every year, hundreds of supporters take part and on Friday 19th September 2014, organisers are hoping to welcome its biggest crowd so far. The new 8km route will start with one loop around the town's Cyclopark, before heading out through Gravesend in a circular route. Walkers will head along Wrotham Road, Perry Street and Coldharbour Road, before eventually heading back to the Cyclopark. Events manager, Emma Whittington, said: “We’d love to see you, your friends, colleagues and family on what is a great night supporting the work provided by chYps Children’s Hospice at Home. Whether you’re a keen athlete or simply like to stroll, the Twilight Walk is the perfect place to have fun while raising vital funds for your local hospice. “We’re hoping for plenty of flashing lights, fancy dress, feather bowers, tutus, glitz, glamour, camaraderie and laughter.” Entry is £15 and walkers will receive a fabulous Twilight Walk t-shirt and goody bag
