Biomass
Heat your home for less,
go green and receive cash back!
On 20th September 2012, the Department of Energy and Climate Change
(DECC) released their consultation paper on the Renewable Heat Incentive
(RHI) for domestic homeowners. The aim is “to support households to
move away from using fossil fuels for heating and to contribute to the UK’s
target on renewable energy deployment by 2020.”
The proposal for RHI is that the government will pay householders a
tarrif for every KWh of heat generated by a supported technology including
wood biomass. Any consumer who is looking to replace their current heating
with a supported renewable technology, or who has installed any such
technology since 15th July 2009 meets the required standards is eligible
for RHI.
Commercial or Domestic Biomass boilers utilise renewable fuels to
heat your home/office smallholding etc, and provide running hot water. The
flexibility of this concept allows it to be used in homes or businesses large
of small.
At Heat Design, they supply the highest quality biomass equipment
with an expert biomass team who can offer expert guidance with all aspects,
from the initial consultation through design application process and
commissioning. They will work closely with you to ensure complete success
with the new installation of your new wood biomass heating system.
