1) Lipgloss Wand in Toffee
(£4.49)
Whenever I do some dramatic eyes on somebody
and want to do just a simple nude lip I’ll often
use Barry M’s Lip Gloss Wand in Toffee. Being a
soft, caramel shade with a subtle shimmer this
is the perfect nude lipgloss for all skin tones, and
it smells amazing.
2) Gelly Hi Shine Lips (£4.99)
I love the intensity and easy application of all of
Barry M’s Gelly High Shine Lips, but my favourite
has to be Alpha, which is the most amazingly
wearable and flattering colour. It’s a bright orangey
red that looks stunning on everybody and it’s a
shade that I have used on clients for music videos
and red carpets alike. If you want to turn heads
and have people coming up to you asking what
lip colour you’re wearing then this is the shade
for you.
3) Lash Vegas Mascara (£6.49)
Barry M’s Lash Vegas does everything you’d
want a mascara to do: it lengthens, thickens and
goes on jet black, and as the wand isn’t too fat
I find it easy to apply without getting splodges
on your skin. Always start at the root of your
lashes when applying mascara and then jiggle
your way up to the ends, making sure you cover
every lash from corner to corner.
4) Flawless Finish Foundation
(£5.99)
When it comes to foundations I want something
that is long lasting, something that I can customise
what kind of coverage it gives, and most
importantly something that looks just like skin.
Barry M’s Flawless Finish Foundation is buildable
so when I apply it I’ll start with a sheer coat all
over, then layer it in areas that need a bit more
help. I like to use a buffing brush to really work
the foundation into the skin and I just love the
satin finish that this foundation gives.
5) Waterproof Gel Eyeliner
(£3.99)
A good kohl pencil is hard to find and the Bold
Waterproof Eye Pencils are a kit staple for me –
particularly the black. In a kohl pencil I want
something that is going to be richly pigmented
and easy to blend with tough staying power, and
this product does all three. They are really creamy
so they glide on, true to their colour. Before it
sets they are gorgeous to blend but once it dries
it’s not going anywhere.
One of my favourite things to finish off an
eye is to do a precise flick, and after trying and
testing so many different gel liners on the market
I found Barry M’s Gel Waterproof Eyeliner. It’s the
most versatile product but whatever you do with
it you know you can trust that it’s going to go on
easy and intense and stay put; that’s all you can
ask from a good gel liner.

6) Supersoft Eye Crayon
in Brown Black (£3.99)
One of my most used products is the Supersoft
Eye Crayon in Brown. It might look like just an
ordinary ‘brown eye pencil’ but it’s a beautiful,
warm brown shade with a very subtle shimmer
that looks amazing on everyone. It’ really creamy
s
so it glides on and is really easy to blend. You
can use it on its own or as a base, and it’s the
perfect chunky size to use all over the lid and
along the lower lash line – great for a wearable
and flattering soft smoky eye. Whenever I use
this on a client they always comment on it and
later tell me that they just had to go buy one.
Eye shadow pencils get brownie points over
cream eye shadows in pots because of their
easiness to apply. Just colour in your whole eyelid
up to the crease then blend it with a fluffy
brush – a really easy way to do an impressive
smoky eye.
