Buckmore Park Kart Circuit may
have reached the grand old age of
50 in 2013, but it won’t surprise
many people to learn that this iconic
venue is still in the prime of life,
especially with the addition of a
new circuit this spring.
The new circuit comes complete with gradient, hairpin bends and a fast
straight. In fact, it takes after Buckmore’s international circuit – the very
circuit on which such legends as Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton learnt
their craft as youngsters.
Families will also have the opportunity to book an exclusive session on the
circuit, which means the long running debate over whether father or son
is quicker, and can big sister overtake, can finally be settled. Of course,
there are a few rules, but for the first time families can race it out in a safe
environment.
The new circuit is designed to cater for the ever-expanding demand for
simple ‘Turn Up ‘n’ Drive’ karting for ages 8 years and over. The circuit is
open most weekends and during school holidays, but do check online for
