BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND Holwood Farm’s Festival of Food A feast of culinary delights will tantalise the taste buds when Holwood Farm lays on its second Festival of Food next month. On Sunday 8th June, the Keston-based farm shop will play host to some of the area’s finest artisan producers, of whom will be on hand to meet visitors and offer tastings. From cheesemakers and brewers, to Kentish bakers, there will be plenty to please the whole family, including locally made sausages and burgers sizzling on the barbecue. “It’s the perfect opportunity for food lovers to meet the people behind their favourite food and drink – and to discover new ones,” says farm shop owner, Gary Mercer, who runs the business with his wife Sarah. “Our first festival last autumn went down a treat, and so it’s by popular demand that we’re laying on this second one. We’re really looking forward to it.” The farm shop, located in New Road Hill, Keston, prides itself on sourcing as much food as possible from Kent and the South East, 63 much of which customers can also enjoy in the upstairs coffee shop. The Festival of Food will take place between 10am and 4pm, and there is free parking and free entry for all. The farm shop and coffee shop are open Tuesday through to Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Holwood Farm & Coffee Shop Yellow Barn New Road Hill Keston BR2 6AB www.holwoodfarm.com
