Aspiring young performers have the opportunity
to learn showbiz skills from a Kent soap star this
April, as former EastEnders actress Cheryl
Fergison kicks off her performing arts school in
West Malling. The famous mother-of-one from
Sidcup will be running two five-day courses for
children and young people who want a career
in performing arts or just want to have lots of fun. Cheryl said: “The week
will be filled with drama, dance, music, singing, scenery and prop-making
workshops, leading to an open performance at the end of the five days."
Price: £150 for the week (open to children aged 5-16 yrs).

Heritage
Transport Show

Showground, Detling,
the Heritage Transport
Show will once again
join forces with the
South East Bus
Festival. Enthusiasts will be able to view the large number of buses and
coaches, as well as the usual wonderful examples of vintage, veteran and
heritage vehicles – all lovingly restored by their owners. The level of dedication
to the vehicles and the time spent by enthusiasts to keep these historic
vehicles maintained is heart warming and makes for a fabulous Kent
day out.

Secret Gardens // 6 April
Several celebrities are backing chYps' latest
fundraising initiative ‘Secret Gardens’, which
will see supporters open their gardens to
friends, family and the public throughout
the year. On 6th April, guests are invited
to explore the beautiful Kentish garden that
is St John's Jerusalem in Sutton-at-Hone.
Proceeds will go towards supporting
EllenorLions Hospices and chYps Children’s
Hospice at Home.
